It was very exciting to have a full house. Our chapter is growing and we all need to be very proud of that! Many thanks go out to everyone who has brought a guest and have made a guest feel at home.

Today's speaker was Julie Eckloff of Remax Quality Realty. Julie started her talk by asking all of us to share stories of buying our homes or of home ownership. We heard stories about the value of a Home Inspection, to taking caution if your air conditioner unit is above the ceiling, to never leave an open drink around Scott Bailey when you’re in a crawl space and he's not! She ended her talk by giving us very important information on credit information that we can all use. A job well done. Thanks Julie and let us all work at getting a referral to Julie this week.

Meeting Wrap-Up May 1, 2009

As always, we had another great meeting with all of our members present and several guest. For the first of May it was a great time.

Here we have Kyle Lisy of New Look Upholstery & Embroidery and Melissa Sperko our very own Mary Kay Cosmetics Rep. help set up a table to accommodate our guest.

Kail Shope who is with Key Bank in Milan was our other guest. Kail is getting the real scoop from Melissa Sperko.

As the author of this blog, I am happy to be able to say that I have known both of our guest for many years. Mary Ann was my neighbor when I was growing up in the Clarksfield area, and I worked for Kail's Father and Mother when she was just a little girl. She was very sweet then as well.
I hope both our guest enjoyed our meeting and can see the benefits of membership.

Ted Young with Got Ya Covered Cleaning was our speaker. Ted discussed the importance of hiring good people to help run his business and ways they need to protect their employees. Ted also talked about how to eliminate clutter; I liked the 3-box method Ted! Thanks for sharing.

Don't forget, next week is Mothers Day! Please bring in a memory of one of your most favorite things you did for your Mother on Mothers Day.
