Meeting Wrap-up March 13, 2009

Today's speakers were Scott & Brandon. They both have just returned from a week in Biloxi MS building homes for the ACT organization. It was very informative and made me want to go with them next time!

The Claddagh's distinctive design features two hands clasping a heart, and usually surmounted by a crown. The elements of this symbol are often said to correspond to the qualities of love (the heart), friendship (the hands), and loyalty (the crown). The expression which was associated with these symbols in the giving of the ring was: "With my hands I give you my heart, and crown it with my love." - Thank you Lori for this information!

Lori was our winner for the best Irish/St. Patty's day get up! And as she is Irish I was proud presenting her with a dozen cookies with Shamrocks on them! Enjoy!

Next week’s speaker will be Brandon Balduff, followed by Melissa Sperko and then Bob Wagner.

See you all next Friday!
